Raymond Theodore Brock was born on February 20, 1927 in Skiatook, Oklahoma. Brock was ordained by the Illinois District of the Assemblies of God in 1950.

Brock served the body of Christ in many ways. Early in his ministry he was an Assemblies of God missionary to Nigeria, West Africa.

Brock was an educator, working at Great Lakes Bible Institute, Southwestern Assemblies of God College, Southwest Missouri University, Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, Oral Roberts University and Evangel College. Ray was also a prolific author. He wrote numerous books and hundreds of articles.

Brock was a licensed professional counselor in Oklahoma.

He went to his eternal reward on October 2, 2001.
