Judy Rachels was born in a minister’s home. Her parents were Cyril and Ruth Homer who built a great church in Dayton, Ohio.

Judy also married a minister, T Ray Rachels who distinguished himself in the Assemblies of God serving in many capacities including superintendent of the Southern California District.

Judy graduated from Evangel College and Vanguard University.

Judy served for fifteen years as the Women’s Ministries Director for the Southern California Assemblies of God. She also served as the National Chairperson for the AG Network for Women in Ministry.
