Thurman Fountain
William Thurman Fountain was born August 27, 1931 in Thomsaston, Georgia. He was ordained by the Assemblies of God in 1947. Thurman served the Assemblies as a sectional, district and executive presbyter and several district missions offices.
He was a pastor, evangelist and camp meeting speaker.
He also served as president of the National Fellowship of Christian Schools and wrote The Philosophy of Education for the Assemblies of God.
Fountain also was a lecturer at Stephen F Austin University and a visiting professor at Continental Bible College in Brussels, Belgium.
