Wesley Dean Garrison was a graduate of Southwestern Assemblies of God University and Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. An ordained Assembiles of God minister, he held positions in churches iin Oklahoma City, OK; Duncanville, TX: and Grand Junction, CO. His final assignment was associate pastor at the First Pentecostal Church of God in Corsicana, TX.

In 1975 the Assemblies of God Royal Rangers program honored him with the distinction of being National Scout. Dean was an avid sportsman. He was tragically killed in a hunting accident in Kerrville, Tx on February 1, 1997. Dean was only 37 years of age.
