Glen Dolan Shinn was born in Russelville, Arkansas on December 26, 1932. Glen was ordained by the South Texas District of the Assemblies of God on June 21, 1956.

For more than five decades Glen was one of the leading evangelists in the Pentecostal world. Always bringing and uplifting message of hope, Shinn preached in the biggest and best churches of his fellowship.

Also an author, Shinn wrote several books including Great Moments with Jesus.

Brother Shinn was promoted to his eternal reward on January 12, 2016.
