Manuel Shoults, the son of Assemblies of God ministers, has spent nearly seven decades in gospel ministry. Shouts served as an evangelist and pastored churches in St Charles, Desoto, St Clair, Nelsonville, and St Louis, Missouri and Covina, California.

In 1949, Shoults married Jane Drees.

He served as district superintendent of the Northern Missouri District of the Assemblies of God.

Shoults started a school in San Pedro, San Marcos, Guatemala that carries his name.

Shoults passed on January 12, 2022. He served as the founder and president of Eagle Ministries in Springfield, Missouri until his death.
