Don Paul Gray is the Advisor to the President and a professor at JSBC. He holds a Doctor of Education Degree and a Master of Religious Education Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary as well as a Bachelor of Science Degree, from Southwestern Assemblies of God College.

Dr. Gray was the first president of JSBC when it opened in 1984 and rejoined the faculty in 2017. He brings more than 30 years of ministry experience to his curriculum, which emphasizes the role of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer and the Church. Dr. Gray is also a regular panelist on A Study in the Word, Frances & Friends, and other programs which air over the SonLife Broadcasting Network.
