Frank Cargill

Beginning in 1973 Frank Cargill served as pastor of Assemblies of God churches in  Okemah, Elk City and Oklahoma City. From 1976-1983 he served as the Oklahoma District youth director.

Cargill became the Assistant District Superintendent in 1983 and held that position for seven years. In 2000 he was elected to the office of District Superintendent. He served in that capacity for more than twenty years.

Under Cargill’s leadership the district opened and developed a 400 acre camp in Sparks, Oklahoma. To honor his vision and efforts for the project the venue was named Camp Cargill.

Frank received a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma State University and a masters from the University of Central Oklahoma.

Having retired from district administration, Frank now serves as an interim pastor at the Green Country Cowboy Church in Poteau, Oklahoma.
