J Colen Lassiter

James Colen Lassiter preached the gospel for more than fifty years. He was known for his powerful Pentecostal preaching. Brother Lassiter pastored churches in Fairhope and Mobile, Alabama; Peoria, Illinois; St Louis, Missouri; and, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

He won thousands to Christ in gospel crusades around the world. He was popular as a camp meeting and missions convention speaker in the Assemblies of God.

Brother Lassiter retired from full-time pastoring in 2008 and passed away December 12, 2024.
