Luis Torres is the lead pastor of First Assembly of God in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Luis was born in Puerto Rico in 1950 but after his parents divorced his father moved to New York and raised Luis in the Bronx. Early in his teens he became hooked on meth and heroine.

He was kicked out of the home and moved to Philadelphia to live with a sister. His life became darker as he stole to support his growing drug habit. He was arrested seven times and faced up to 35 years in prison.

A worker from Teen Challenge witnessed to Torres and brought him into the program. On October 7, 1970 Luis was born again and delivered from addiction.

Torres was called to the ministry and attended Ozark Bible Institute in Neosho, Missouri. He has crisscrossed the country sharing his testimony in schools, crusades, churches and auditoriums.

Brother Torres finished his earthly journey on August 7, 2024.
