Paul Van Winkle is a native of Indiana. He served the Assemblies of God as a pastor and evangelist. He came to Texas and pastored several Assemblies of God churches including Lake Worth AG in Ft. Worth, First AG in Channelview, TX, Bay City AG, and his final pastorate was Faith Harbor in Port Arthur, TX.  He was presbyter of the Beaumont Section of the South Texas District. 

Paul, in his 80s, is retired and living with his wife Sylvia in Austin, TX.
