Rick Brown attended Southwestern Assemblies of God. He has served as a youth pastor at Faith Assembly of God in St Louis and outreach pastor in Hannibal, Missouri.

Rick served as an evangelist 1983-1989 and 1996-2000, travelling throughout the United States.

He served a prison chaplain for Joyce Meyers Ministries in 2001. Their ministry reached to over 500 prisons.

Gospel music has also been an important part of Rick’s life and ministry. After Bible school he sang lead with Coy Cook and the Premiers. Rick later sang tenor with Solid Rock for seven years and today sings with the Wanda Mountain Boys.
