Sara Sharp
Sara Emma Sharp was born to George Burns Trammell and Fanny Rose Trammell on February 2, 1925 in Timpson, Texas.
Sara was ordained by the Assemblies of God on June 8, 1950. She graduated from Southwestern Assemblies of God Bible College with a Bachelor's in Science degree in May, 1954. Sara traveled across the United States for many years evangelizing. Together with Maudia Jo Durham, Sara built El Bethel Church in DeSoto, Texas. She pastored El Bethel for 13 years with Jo and then for another 8 years after Jo returned to the evangelistic field.
In October of 2003, Sara received a Doctorate of Divinity degree from the River Bible Institute for her years of faithful service to our Lord. Also in 2003, Sara moved to Tampa, Florida and made the River at Tampa Bay her home church, basing her ministry out of it. She taught several times at the River Bible Institute.
Sara received her call to glory on March 30, 2011.
