Sidney Watson
Sidney Watson, a native Texan, pastored churches in Texas and Missouri for more than fifty years. He led three churches in relocating and constructing all-new worship facilities. In the 1960s he began a thirty-year involvement with the Teen Challenge ministry and was instrumental in developing two new training centers, Mid-America in Missouri and South Texas Teen Challenge in San Antonio.
In the year 2002, he began transitioning to an overseas ministry. In 2003, Sidney was invited by the Bishop of the Polish Pentecostal Church to begin a ministry to pastors and their families in Poland. He and his wife, Neta, conducted retreats, conferences, and personal ministry all across Poland and several other nations where Polish people lived and worshipped. All this while he also served as interim pastor for churches in America.
In 2022, Sidney stepped down from serving as an interim pastor in Southeast Missouri, and retired to Boerne, Texas. Declining health has severely limited his preaching ministry. Now his ministry is limited to writing weekly devotions and other pastoral writing.
