Venson O. Brassfield was born September 11, 1930 at Muldrow, OK. V. O. was a 1948 graduate of Bixby High School. He completed Bible School training through Berean Bible College in Springfield, MO and was ordained with the Oklahoma District Assemblies of God Church in October, 1963.

V.O. was a talented singer and directed his church choir when only 5 years old. He won a full-ride to Oklahoma A & M (OSU) on vocal music scholarship.

Brother Brassfield pastored churches in Ft. Smith, Tulsa, Rupert, Idaho, Stroud, Edmond, Dunn, North Carolina and Pryor, OK. Rev. Brassfield retired from First Assembly of God Church in Pryor in January 2001.

Brother Brassfield went to be with his Lord on Monday, June 4, 2001.
