Mike Purkey

Mike Purkey has served the body of Christ and the Assemblies of God as a gospel singer, pastor and evangelist.

In 1975 he became the pastor of Lexexa Christian Center in a suburb of Kansas City, Kansas. The church had an attendance of about 75. Purkey built a mega-congregation and 160,000 square-foot church building on 21 acres. In 2016 Mike stepped down as lead pastor.

He is still one of the nation’s most sought-after ministers.
